Harvest Season Tasting: The Nebbiolos of Piedmont

Often described as an "iron fist in a velvet glove," Nebbiolo is treasured varietal from Piedmont known for the paradox of its pale, translucent color, but strong tannic presence and high Cabernet-like acidity. Whether in a revered Barolo, or Barbaresco, or the more approachable Langhe you're sure to be smitten with the allure of a grape that has been grown in Italy since at least the 13th century.

This event will include tastes of a variety of Piedmontese Nebbiolos from several local distributors as well as expertly paired cheese & charcuterie platters.
