Libby DeCamp is a singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist based in Detroit, MI. Her songs evoke the spirit of roots music from bygone eras, drawing inspiration from prewar blues, old-time string bands, beat generation poetics, early R&B, and country western. With one foot in the past and an eye on the future, Libby is a writer who tugs at the ageless thread of truth-telling, social justice, and communal spirit through song, and tramps into continuous new territories- even at times bordering the mystical and psychedelic.
