Olivia Dear

Olivia Dear (formerly Olivia Millerschin) captivates audiences with her celestial voice, wrapping them in a gossamer blend of modern pop and folk songwriting. Hailing from Detroit, Dear has won two John Lennon Songwriting Awards, the Great American Song Contest, and could recently be heard singing at 2018 Olympics for U.S. Ice Dancers, Madison Chock and Evan Bates.

After years of touring and releasing music, Dear explains the name change: “When I started writing and releasing original music, I was 14-years-old and, naturally, I used my family name. Even then, I knew ‘Millerschin’ was A LOT, but it never occurred to me that I could or should go by any other name. In 2020, I was given the funding and time to start again, say what I mean, and create the music I've always wanted to.
